Religious Education                                  

We were awarded the REQM Gold Award, the highest level, for the second time in 2017. (Click the logo above for more information about RE Quality Mark.) It is very difficult for primary schools to be awarded the highest level of this award. We work hard to develop our enquiry skills in RE and enjoy debating through Philosophy for Children.

We are often involved with exciting RE opportunities as Mrs Anstice as also an RE consultant and an assessor for REQM. We host events in school and our RE ambassadors (from Year 6) often help with RE conferences for other schools.  We often trial lots of RE resources before publication so we may be doing something different than our long term plan suggests. 

In 2014 we were invited to talk at the House of Lords about outstanding Religious Education. One of two primary schools to be selected from across the country. 

As part of our RE we work closely with Frodsham Methodist Church, Frodsham Churches Together, Muslim Learner Services as well as having lots of speakers and visits to places of worship.
