Finally we were able to hold a musical event together again. Stars In Their Eyes was last held during the spring term, before Lockdown, in 2020. It was apt that this was the first event that we were able to hold again. Children from KS2 auditioned in January ready for a performance which was due to take place in February but we eventually able to perform in March. 18 acts took to the stage including Sia, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Julie Andrews, Adele and many more. A fantastic evening was had by all so a huge well done to the Manor Stars.
Children's Winner (voted by all pupils at the dress rehearsal) was Alfie, Zac and Freddie as One Direction.
Best Newcomer was Rachel as Idina Menzel (Elsa).
Joint Third Place was Will as Rick Astley and Zach as Elton John.
Second Place was Alfie, Zac and Freddie as One Direction.
First Place went to Isla who performed as Natalie Paris who was the original Jane Seymour in Six The Musical.
